Ability to change status of award points as claimed so they aren't claimed twice

We link awards to rewards points which our employees claim as vouchers. The system doesn't allow us to say that X award points have been claimed which means that unless we keep a manual report offline or delete the award entirely employees don't know what they can claim or not. Is there any way that a button to change an award and therefore the points to "claimed" could be added so that its clearer?
